Mike Perry received message from Jake Pauls upset coach after posting fake script for Tommy

Mike Perry upset Jake Paul’s coach by posting a fake script for his fight with Tommy Fury.

The former UFC fighter signed a contract to box Paul and was considered the backup opponent for the event in Saudi Arabia last weekend - but he wasn’t needed.

On the morning of Paul vs Fury, Perry tweeted a ‘script’ for the fight that made a series of wild claims about what would happen when the two rivals finally threw down after trash-talking each other for years.

According to the document, Paul would walk to the ring in a baby costume before inflicting a significant eye injury on Fury and ultimately securing an eighth-round TKO win.

The ‘script’ suggested Paul would call out KSI during his post-fight celebrations and was shared so much that those promoting the fight were forced to address it. They told The Sun: “We can confirm, it’s fake.”

Fury flipped the script at the Diriyah Arena on Sunday evening as he soundly outboxed Paul over the course of eight rounds to win a split decision and stretch his perfect record to 9-0 and secure a place in the WBC rankings.

Perry has since revealed he didn’t create the script despite bringing it to the attention of the masses with his Twitter post which was shared almost 3000 times and reached 6.5 million people.

He told TMZ Sports: “It was an Instagram post I think my buddy sent me. I tweeted it and it's probably my best tweet of all time, probably. It got a lot of attention.

The 31-year-old added that someone from Paul’s team sent him an angry message about it, but he wasn’t bothered because the former Disney actor previously leaked footage from one of their sparring sessions.

Perry continued: “Jake's coach wrote me and was upset about his reputation. I was thinking, well, Jake never cared about my reputation when he posted a video of what I said to him at practice.”

The Bare-Knuckle boxer has already moved on from a potential fight with ‘The Problem Child’ as he’s been booked to face former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold on April 29.

Perry will headline a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship card that also features a fight between Chad Mendes and Eddie Alvarez who both got knocked out in UFC title fights by Conor McGregor.
